I have been getting cakes from Decadent Desserts for birthdays for the past two years and their cakes are always amazing. Very fresh and delicious. I particularly like their Dufflet's cakes. Multiple people have asked me where I bought the cake from after trying it. They have a wide selection of whole cakes and it changes every time I go.
The people who work at Decadent Desserts are very honest with which cakes would be fresh by the date you want to serve them and which ones won't. I have picked up cakes from here 2-3 days before the event and they have always been moist and delicious. Just ask them when the event would be and they will literally point to the ones that will be good by that day.
The only thing I think they should improve is the writing on the cake. They always do it on a piece of chocolate with blue icing. It doesn't look the best for some cakes, and the writing is not like those cool cursive ones that you see on other birthday cakes; they do it in capital letters. But, they don't charge for it, which is always good :) -

Some of their cakes are really good - if pre-ordered the whole cake.. or you are lucky to come when the cakes are freshly sliced. Otherwise we have gotten some usually really good cakes that look and taste old. For example, their Chocolate Banana cake CAN BE divine! But... if you get it few days old (like I did) - it goes straight into garbage. The cake I got was so dry, hard to cut into.. and just tasted old and hard. Their Pistachio Cheesecake did not taste like pistachios at all - another disappointment. Their Carrot Cake is tasty but more on the sweet side. My favourite so far has been Red Velvet Cheesecake- but maybe I was just lucky enough to get it fresh. Be careful. Do not get too many old cakes. Ask if they are fresh from today!

Consistently delicious!
My work buys cakes from here regularly and no matter what type of cake we order it's always so good! If you're close by, I highly recommend their cakes for any occasion (or just any day)! But in all seriousness, I don't think I've been anywhere else that produces consistently amazing quality for such a wide range of cakes.
They also have a wide variety of single sliced cheesecakes and regular cakes, which is great for a nice dessert for yourself or to share.
If you're close by, Decadent Desserts is worth a try! -

A 4 star plus cake shop. I've been to this cake shop a lot for my own treat and birthday cakes for office. Their cakes never disappoint me. They are never too sweet and are always fresh. Their prices are reasonable too. Even though I am not a fan of cup cakes, I find their cup cakes are very good too. Their macaroons, to my taste and standard, are not as good as their cakes.
Since this is a grab and go cake shop, I usually buy a cake or two there once a while for my afternoon tea treat in the office or dessert at home. However, there are tables and seats provided outside of Longo's and in front of this cake shop. You can enjoy the cake you bought right away at the spot too. The cake shop provides plastic forks and napkins for free upon request.
This cake shop is located in the Path just opposite to Longo's at the First Canadian Place. It is also the area that has the worst phone data reception. You usually would not be able to do Yelp check in until after you are at least 10 something meters away. I kept forgetting to check in back till this last time recently lol. -

Cake was not fresh. It was dry and crumbly like it had been sitting in their store for days. Very disappointed and they should tell their customers that it's not fresh or throw it out entirely!
Also they charge extra for writing, but how ugly was the writing that I threw out that piece of chocolate that they wrote it on and wrote another one myself.
What a waste of money. Cake was not only ugly (the writing) but it tasted gross. Thank goodness it was only for family. Imagine the embarrassment if you would have brought it for a coworker or boss! Stay away.
